I walked and talked with a girl from the record store (Sunset/Santa Monica Bl. intersection) near the Jiffy Lube, all the way to Sunset and Echo Park. Desiree was her name. If you take an 'e' from her name, she's Desire.
She had a backpack on. Black. In between her back and that, was a skatboard. She had a black mesh hat that looked pretty beat up. She was 24, but I could've guessed she was 18. Had a nose piercing, but it was unlike any I had seen on a girl.
She asked what I got. I told her. "Damn...those are some jams in there." So we talked.
She lives in Echo Park. That's where we shook hands and said "see ya around." We talked about lots of stuff. I think I can look past people's mistakes and bad decisions and see them for what they're really worth. I hope we do see eachother around.
