Most people turned away. Most people even moved seats.
I just stayed there, and was listening to Reverend Maynard when you started looking towards me and started talking.
"You look like you've had a few too many."
"No, I just like wearing sun glasses whenever I'm staring at random people."
"Oh. You want an MGD?"
"I sure would."
I didn't open it, obviously. I have issues when people drink on public transit. I just placed the 12 ounce bottle in my jacket sleeve, and sunk back into subconsciousness listening to the words of Timothy Leary. Question Authority. Reverberates throughout my head.
Then the guy with the bucket full of flowers came on. I smiled.
Then your "princess" came on the bus, and you bought her a white rose. She smiled, you smiled back. You handed me another MGD, and would not take 'no' for an answer. I obliged, and went back into my head fones and watched you talk to the woman who you had just met, who you had just bought a flower for. That took balls, I guess.
She smiled nervously, you smiled back. Everyone thought you were a fool, but you know what? I think you made her day.
The 2 MGDs chilling in the freezer right now made my day.
